Happy Anniversary

My wife and I always take the week of our wedding anniversary off. We'd promised ourselves that we wouldn't do the same thing we did last year and spend the entire week working on house projects, which left us feeling as though we'd had no vacation (though we did get a lot done). We did a few necessary things around the house this time out, but spent most of the week just relaxing, rather than doing anything in particular. It was enjoyable, but it never feels as though it's enough time away from work before we have to go back.

I started work on two new roleplaying scenarios this week, since I reached a point where I felt stuck on the first one and wanted to keep writing. The first is a Firefly style adventure for GURPS Space with a working title of "Herding Cats", and the other is a Sorcerer scenario with a working title of "Dance of Pairs", in which half of the players will be playing the sorcerers, and the other half will be playing their demons.

I'll be running several RPG sessions at MEPACon next weekend, which should be my last convention of the year. As usual, I'm scheduled to run five sessions using four different game systems. I really need to simplify and go back to running fewer systems so I don't need to carry so many books with me. I'll have more about MEPACon after next weekend.
