Heroes

Wow! I don't watch a lot of network TV, but I've been watching this.

The only problem is the title. Would you call a TV series simply "Lawyers" or "Doctors"? Just a quibble.

And with television networks' tendency to copy anything successful, what do you want to bet that next season we'll see another show about people with special powers in a contemporary setting, except that it won't be this good?

i'd just like to say that the acting and writing on the first episode didn't agree with me. i am very much against the use of loud music during a seemingly "dramatic" or "emotional" scene, especially when the scene is not that dramatic or emotional, or for whatever reason, just not clicking. they over use music, to heighten a not-so-dramatic scene. it's like intentional tear jerkers in movies. look, a dead puppy! it's like "oliver stoning" a scene. "hey, look this scenes dramatic! look here!"

BUT, i'll be giving this show another chance, because he did "Misfits of Science"...and yes, i've been hearing it's GOOD, from people who aren't even really into the whole super hero thing.
how can you have a show about super heroes and no one has "eye beams"? hopefully they at least have someone with "shrinking". they do, don't they? team uniform? team motto? battle cry? secret head quarters and handshake?
